Julia Morris is one of Australia’s most accomplished and celebrated performers.
A quadruple threat, Julia has moved seamlessly between stage and screen for decades. First appearing on Australian TV at 17, singing on the talent show New Faces, Julia became a household name with her starring role in comedy sketch favourite Full Frontal.
Along with multiple guest appearances on British sitcoms, it was her unforgettable five-season run on House Husbands that cemented her acting prowess - and five Most Popular Actress Logie Nominations. In 2026, Julia returned to scripted comedy, appearing in URZILA, the hit sketch series from Urzila Carlson
As a stand-up comedian, Julia has performed at every major comedy festival around the world, taking the stage with Whoopi Goldberg, Richard Pryor and Robin Williams. From Comedy Festival Galas to the Prime Minister’s Midwinter Ball, Julia’s infectious humour is universally adored.
Her 2001 solo show won the prestigious Herald Angel Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. With a groundswell of comedy fans, Julia also won Time Out London’s ‘Comedy Performer of the Year’. Over the years, Julia’s comedy has won ‘Best Australian Act’ at the Time Out Sydney Comedy Awards (2009) and Best Comedy at the Helpmann Awards (2013).
In 2015 Julia flew to the South African “jungle” as the host of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia. In 2026 she completed her highly acclaimed 12-year run with a fifth straight Gold Logie nomination - Australian TV’s highest honour.
Outside of the jungle, Julia has hosted Australia’s Got Talent, Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway and The Singing Office. She has appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox Australia and is the narrator of Dog’s Behaving Badly.
Julia has competed on Taskmaster Australia, Have You Been Paying Attention? The Masked Singer Australia, Thank God You’re Here, Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee and Spicks & Specks. She won the celebrity singing competition, It Takes Two and was the very first winner of The Celebrity Apprentice Australia
Later this year, Julia will host a brand-new format, Class Clowns, for ABC. The show from Warner Bros. International sees Julia take charge as the principal, grading six comedians as they tackle classic school subjects with not-so-classic, arguably ridiculous, assignments.
